Lewis Hamilton has declared that he does not ever intend to race for a Formula One team other than McLaren.

The 23-year-old burst onto the scene in 2007, and at the beginning of this year it was announced that he had inked a contract to stay with the Mercedes-powered outfit until at least the end of 2012.

"I plan to drive for McLaren my entire career," Hamilton told the German magazine Auto Motor und Sport in an interview to be published late next week, on the eve of his home British grand prix at Silverstone.

"I have a great contract and would be delighted if the cooperation continues beyond it," he added.
