24/07/2008 11:29. It is amazing how a very successful car from one OEM goes on to inspire just as successful a comparative offering by a rival! The car which comes most vividly to mind is the E-class range by Mercedes-Benz, arguably the best selling and most successful luxury executive car model in history. And no it is not about the latest E-class which we have highlighted here in this issue of ET Zigwheels but the rival its success helped create.
