vehicles in July, as automakers nationwide struggle in the face of
high gas prices and shrinking demand for trucks and sport
utilities. While sales of the M-Class sport utility and R-Class crossover declined last month, the German automaker said sales of the GL-Class full-sized sport utility jumped 28 percent.
