Mitsubishi will unveil the Pajero Sport, a replacement for a discontinued model of the same name at the Moscow motor show on 26 August.

The new Pajero Sport (Montero Sport in South America; Nativa in Latin America, and Challenger in Australia) will not be sold in North America, and central and western Europe, the OEM says. Just as was the case with the previous model (1995-2005), it is based on the L200/Triton pick-up.

As for Russia, ASEAN markets, the Middle East, Latin America and Oceania, the SUV will go on sale, in a phased manner, starting in October.
