02/07/2008 18:59. Mitsubishi Chemical Corp., Japan's top petrochemical maker will
delay restart of the No.1 naphtha cracker at its Kashima plant by 3
days. The 410,000 tpa ethylene plant, that should have restarted at
the beginning of the month, is now planed on July 4. The plant has
been under scheduled maintenance since May 13. This delay in turn
also affects the turnaround schedule of the No. 2 cracker. The
