03/07/2008 02:53. TOKYO, Jul 01, 2008 (Kyodo News International - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- MHVYF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. said Tuesday it will license its technology to recycle carbon dioxide emissions to a major Pakistani urea fertilizer producer.

With the Japanese firm's know-how, Engro Chemical Pakistan Ltd. will use CO2 emitted from a new plant in urea production and methanol synthesis, Mitsubishi said.

Urea production is boosted by the use of CO2.

The value of the new contract has not been disclosed.
