Mitsubishi Motors total June sales fall 42% on unadjusted basis

02/07/2008 08:02. SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Mitsubishi Corp. unit Mitsubishi Motors North America Inc. Tuesday said total June vehicle sales fell 42% on an unadjusted basis to 7,494 units.

The most recent June had three fewer selling days than the same month last year.

Total car sales fell an unadjusted 30% to 5,884 units, while total sport utility vehicle sales plunged an unadjusted 68% to 1,385 units.

Total sales in the calendar year to date are down 23%, the company said.
