25/07/2008 08:44. Everybody's doing it. Going green, that is. It seems as though every automobile and truck manufacturer is offering at least one hybrid vehicle as part of their inventory.

The Altima Hybrid joined Nissan's lineup last year and continues to offer the efficiency and fuel economy of a hybrid drivetrain as well the performance of the fourth generation non-HEV Altima. Enhancements for this year's model include the addition of standard splash guards, diversity antenna and available factory-activated XM Satellite Radio (subscription sold separately).

This vehicle plays a major role in Nissan's continuing efforts in environmental protection and vehicle efficiency. The 2008 Altima Hybrid joins the Altima Sedan and the new Altima Coupe in the Altima stable.
