08/08/2008 03:24. Knowing they'll be developing another all-new vehicle to house their electric propulsion system, it's not surprising that Nissan is cautious about releasing too many specs on the prototype EV-02 we got to drive here—you know, like the 0-to-60 mph times. But our turn behind the wheel revealed the system to be surprisingly quick. While it doesn't quite have the wheel-spinning launch of a 350Z, the Cube offers a full-throttle take-off that backs us deep into the Cube's seats. That's not entirely surprising, as electric motors generate maximum torque the instant they start turning.
