17/06/2008 22:25. Nissan Motor Co Ltd announced June 16, 2008, that it started producing its all-new "Teana" sedan at the Xianfang plant (Hubei Province, China) of Dongfeng Motor Co Ltd.

Dongfeng Motor Co Ltd is Nissan's joint venture with Dongfeng Motor Corp.

Considering China accounted for nearly half of the previous model's total sales, Nissan reflected the needs of Chinese customers in the development of the new model, it said. Dongfeng Nissan Technical Center in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, and Nissan Technical Center in Japan gathered information on the Chinese market together for the development of Teana for China.
