In typical Citroen style, more expensive C5 models get an
over-abundance of small and fiddly buttons, which in turn give the
dashboard a complicated look. In the SX, slightly less equipment
for once pays dividends because it comes with a simpler sound
system and manual air conditioning, significantly cutting down on
clutter.
Unfortunately both the sound system and air-con controls are set

from the road for too long to locate the right button to press or
knob to turn. Making up for this in some measure is the fixed-hub
steering wheel, which is becoming common place on the latest
generation of Citroens. Audio controls are mounted here, as are
buttons for the cruise control and horn.
