25/08/2008 19:24. Starting next month, prices of the 2009 Matiz will rise as much as 200,000 won (US$187) to 7.26 million won, GM Daewoo said in a statement.

In the statement, a GM Daewoo executive said the carmaker will raise the Matiz prices as more consumers want to buy such fuel-efficient vehicles amid high fuel prices.
