But competition has returned—the 2008 Dodge Challenger is already here and the 2010 Camaro saunters into showrooms early next year. So how are Ford—and the Mustang—going to step up their game?

First, the Mustang was significantly restyled, both inside and out. Every body panel except the roof is new.
