20/08/2008 08:58. Maverick Technologies said Tuesday that Jim Ford has been promoted to director of strategic initiatives for the global business unit, and Chad Harper was named manager of advanced automation solutions, also for the company's global business unit.

Ford and Harper report to Mark Hall, vice president of that unit.

Ford, formerly Maverick's director of advanced automation solutions, now will assist Hall in developing process technology and advanced process control business with the company's global clients, the company said in a release.
