30/09/2008 07:46. What happens next at Hino Motors Manufacturing West Virginia in Wood County will depend on what happens outside of the plant.

In the past year, demand for commercial trucks, overall in the United States, has declined.  In August alone, Hino officials say commercial truck sales were down 45%.

But Hino Motors Sales USA President Sumio Fukaya says that has not been the case for his company.  "Hino sales are still keeping the same volume as last year," Fukaya said as the company celebrated its official Grand Opening in Williamstown on Monday.

The company started putting together commercial trucks in Wood County in November of last year with about 80 workers on the payroll.
