05/11/2008 22:37. Unknown Japanese manufacturer launches a luxury four-door with a fuel-guzzling petrol-only 3.7-litre petrol engine into a crowded market full of tried-and-tested German brands.

Well, the reality is, it's not. The G37 has got its work cut out in a category full of class acts: BMW has its impressive 330i , Merc's offering the mighty C350 and Audi's A4 3.2 FSI Quattro cannot be dismissed either, but with the odds stacked against it, Infiniti is remains confident nonetheless.
