prestigious auto marque, unveiled its reborn Super Eight sedan, to the delight of all good ladies and gentlemen. While
Americans will likely see the new Daimler for the bejeweled long-wheelbase Jaguar XJ sedan it is, us Yanks
won't be getting our left-steering mitts on it — barring our
becoming Fleet Street ex-pats (or more likely, Guy Ritchie's
manservants). That's because the 80,000-quid (i.e., 140,000-buck)
luxosteamer is exclusively British — with an interior fitted
with more leather trim, walnut veneer and woollen carpeting than
the Pall Mall Travellers Club.
The Jag-come-lately, which will go on sale later this year, gets
