Friday, was in critical condition Saturday night at University of
Kentucky Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said. Tyler Hopper, 200 block of Douglas Avenue, suffered head injuries in the 7:20 p.m. one-vehicle wreck on Switzer Road in Franklin County about a mile from the Switzer covered bridge, according to Franklin County Sheriff Steve Clark. Hopper was flown by emergency helicopter from the accident scene to the medical center in Lexington.
