17/07/2008 00:29. The 'Eagle' is the first entirely new model from the Norwich-based car company and motoring enthusiasts have been anticipating the launch of the new British sportscar since the popular Lotus Elise was released in 1995.

Its official name will be announced at the British Motor Show next week.

It seats four rather than the traditional sports car two, has a top speed of 160mph and can go from 0-60mph in less than five seconds.
