What's new: The 2008 Saab 9-3, which is an all-new design, came out last year. For 2009, there will be a new all-wheel-drive system (called "cross-wheel drive") on 2.0T models, a more powerful 280-horsepower engine on Aero models, and a new convertible top color -- gray.

The 2008 9-3 took on a bolder look with all-new body styling in front of the cabin, in particular the bumpers and narrow light assemblies. Flared side-sill extensions became standard for all 9-3 models in 2008. The upswept rear edge of the car adds to its sportiness.
