Skoda will cut production of the Octavia model at its factory in Bratislava, Slovakia by half, next year, head of the Czech car maker's trade union organisation Jaroslav Povsik told local daily Mlada fronta Dnes .

Skoda has announced prices for the facelifted Octavia that goes on sale in January. The new car has revised exterior styling with the usual changes to bumpers and lights and a redesigned interior with new steering wheel design and new upholstery.
