Prague  - The Czech manufacturer Skoda has announced plans to build a station wagon version of the Superb for 2010 after the four- door sedan went on sale in Europe this month.

The Superb stands out with its new "twin door-concept" that gives it both sedan and hatchback characteristics. When the boot lid is closed, the driver can press a button which lifts the rear glass with the boot lid attached, turning the sedan into a hatchback for loading outsize cargo.

Boot space of 565 litres can be extended by folding down the rear seat to 1,670 litres.
