27/11/2008 14:47. TOKYO, Nov 27, 2008 (AsiaPulse via COMTEX) -- SZKMF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Suzuki Motor Corp. (TSE:7269) on Wednesday introduced the fully remodeled Alto Lapin minivehicle, which has been redesigned to be more fuel efficient and more appealing to young women.

The new Alto Lapin is up to 25 per cent more fuel efficient thanks to an improved engine and lighter body. A version of the new model equipped with a continuously variable transmission can run 24.5km on a liter of gasoline, one of the best figures for a Suzuki vehicle.
