24/06/2008 01:57. According to Suzuki , aggregate worldwide production of its current generation Swift series, first launched in Japan in September 2004, has now exceeded one million units (1,002,769 as at 31 May).

Following the introduction of Swift build in Japan, Suzuki began manufacturing the car at plants in Hungary, India, and China soon thereafter, with assembly in Indonesia and Malaysia added since.

Suzuki notes that the Swift reached the million mark faster than any model in its history.... // Automotive World
