26/09/2008 00:24. Workers who normally build the Toyota Tundra have been at work beautifying the city’s parks this week. Toyota had to stop production at its San Antonio truck plant for three months starting in August due to slumping Tundra sales, but did not lay off any workers. Instead, they have been taking part in the company’s Kaizen and Development period.
