01/09/2008 05:31. ADAC Volkswagen Polo: Brands Hatch - Maiden Victory For Maciek Steinhof, Williams Extends Lead

First ever victory for Maciek Steinhof: The 22-year-old Pole won the eighth round of the ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup at Brands Hatch, Great Britain, after taking his first pole position the day before. Elia Erhart from Röttenbach clinched second place ahead of Shane Williams, who – thanks to a spectacular recovery from 15th place on the grid – extended his Polo Cup lead to ten points ahead of Alexander Rambow (Zehdenick). Maximilian Sandritter (Raubling) in seventh overall strengthened his lead in the rookie classification.
