Volvo is launching its new factory-built police car at today's
National Association of Police Fleet Managers conference.
The V70 Turn Key, as it's known, is built on the normal production
line at Torslanda in Sweden, and the point is that it when it's
delivered to the police force which has ordered it, it's
immediately ready to go without the need to spend several months
converting it for police use.
So, the livery, the lightbar, the radio preparation and wiring and
a master control panel are all fitted as standard. VASCAR speed
detection, a surveillance camera and a two-dog cage are available
