Peugeot misery hands lead to Audi
Peugeot suffered a nightmare start to the Le Mans 24 Hour Race on Saturday as its leading car slumped down the field to hand the advantage to rivals Audi. The pole-sitting Peugeot of Stephane Sarrazin, Pedro Lamy and Alexander Wurz led for the opening two hours but then suffered suspected gearbox trouble in the pit lane. The car slipped six laps into 27th place.
