The No.2 Audi R10 reclaimed the lead of the Le Mans 24 Hours going into the fourth hour, after Peugeot endured a disastrous third hour in France.

The three Peugeots had started the third hour in the top three positions, but problems for all three of them handed the lead to Allan McNish.

McNish handed the lead car over to Dindo Capello after a stint of two hours and 45 minutes, and the car only lost the lead briefly - at the turn of the fourth hour - before Marc Gene brought the No.7 car in for its next scheduled pit stop.

The No.9 Peugeot also remained in touch with the leader despite its problems, while the No.3 Audi holds fourth place ahead of last year's winners in the No.1 car.

The No.8 Peugeot that led the race in the early stages rejoined in 28th position, six laps down.... // autosport.com
