02/07/2008 23:42. Nikki was driving at 100 mph when she was clipped by another vehicle. She lost control of the car and smashed high-speed into a cement tollbooth, dying instantly.

California Highway Patrol and local police arrived at the scene of the accident, where they saw Nikki's decapitated body still strapped to her seat. Officers of the law are not authorized to photograph any crime or accident scenes - but somehow, photos of the accident leaked onto the internet.

Nikki Catsouras' parents Christos and Lesli Catsouras are suing the California Highway Patrol for leaking the pictures. They were later tortured with leaked photos of their beautiful daughter's death via anonymous emails.
