How far will Renault's fuel-cell Scenic go? 30/06/2008 20:54. The Renault engineer bent his head conspiratorially to me and
revealed his company's biggest technical challenge. Well, here's a story, I thought. What could this be? A dud new engine? Dodgy electrics? A faulty batch of steel that will reduce every Renault to a pile of rust in one British winter? (Actually a few years ago that really was its biggest challenge. But I digress). No. The big problem for Renault, as for every other automaker, is really no secret at all "it's the public". Well, he's got a point. The public doesn't like change .
