03/07/2008 11:07. SHANGHAI, China — Shanghai Auto, China's largest automaker, has denied widespread media speculation that it is discussing the purchase of Volvo Cars from U.S. parent Ford. But a second Chinese carmaker, Dongfeng Motor, has had preliminary talks with Ford, according to wire-service reports.
