21/06/2008 04:43. NO deal. That's what a Townsville man yesterday told auctioneers just minutes after buying Graeme Hoy's Rolls Royce online.

The fallen Chartwell Enterprise director's unique million-dollar vehicle only attracted one bid of $611,000 during its online auction which ended yesterday afternoon.

GraysOnline chief executive officer Cameron Poolman said the Rolls Royce Phantom would now be sold for less than its advertised price of $610,000.

Mr Poolman said negotiations were continuing with the Townsville businessman, who retracted his offer, and other potential bidders.

"It's a bit unfortunate that the bid was retracted and now we are negotiating for slightly less money," he said.

"It will be sold because it needs to be sold and that should happen within the next few days."... // Geelong Advertiser
