18/06/2008 16:38. Tokyo, June 18, 2008 (Jiji Press) - Suzuki Motor Corp. 7269 said Wednesday that cumulative global production of Swift compact cars surpassed one million units by the end of May.

This was achieved in three years and eight months, the shortest period for the company's compact cars. The Swift's production started domestically in September 2004.
