NO. 20 NAPA TOYOTA CAMRY LOOSE AT TOYOTA SPEEDWAY
20/08/2008 07:58. ANTELOPE, California – Bill McAnally Racing’s
driver Eric Holmes battled a loose No. 20 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota
Camry all night at the Toyota Speedway. Despite a difficult
handling car, Holmes finished eighth; maintaining his NASCAR
Camping World Series West championship points lead.
Holmes put the No. 20 NAPA entry fifth on the board during the
second practice. He went on to qualify on the outside of row two.
Holmes ran the first 35 laps in the top five. During a caution at
lap 69, he radioed crew chief, Ty Joiner that the car was
“really loose†and he
couldn’t get 100% on the throttle. Joiner would
do what he could to get more forward bite for Holmes during the
halfway break at lap 100. The No. 20 NAPA team went to work during
