Sony Ericsson W760i mobile phone review 14/08/2008 19:11. 14 August 2008 - It seems Sony Ericsson offers more Walkman handsets than we've
had hot dinners, so is the W760i the handset for you? We get
listening and calling to find out. The new W760 slider is the latest Walkman handset and was announced at the same time as the W380 and W350 models at the beginning of the year. Available in three colours silver, red or black (Sony Ericsson actually calls the colours Rocky Silver, Fancy Red and Intense Black) you get a 2.2-inch screen, a 3.2-megapixel camera and 1GB Memory Stick in the box and HSDPA connectivity, GPS and an accelerometer for control with movement rather than keys. The slider design is unadventurous, but sturdy and easy to use with a dedicated Walkman button on the side and enough shortcut keys to use without having to "slide" the... // Pocket-lint.co.uk 14/08/2008 06:20 Sony Ericsson T700 LetsGoMobile
13/08/2008 22:29 Sony Ericsson comes out with C902 mobile phone Khabrein.info
New Delhi, Aug 13, 2008: Sony Ericsson has come out with C902
cybershot mobile phone. The handset that will cost around Rs 20000
in India is a beautiful mix of great features and beauty. C902 that measures a rail-thin 10.5mm thick, the HSDPA blazing , the latest phone from Sony Ericsson has unceremoniously dethroned the LG Secret as the slimmest 5MP camphone on the planet. There were some doubts earlier about the success of the handset as it comes after the C905, a 8 mega pixel camera, but this beautiful little thing seems to have everything needed to make a product a success. Sony Ericsson is using the new James Bond film to promote its new mobile phone... // Khabrein.info 13/08/2008 11:11 Will there be a Sony Ericsson Bravia mobile phone? about-electronics.eu
Techdigest :Â The relationship between Sony Ericsson and plain old
Sony is a little confusing from the outside but obviously
there’s different people working in the companies, even if
they are both under the same umbrella. Sony’s obviously traditionally a more established, quality brand than the mobile branch but the borrowing of the odd product name has done Sony Ericsson the power of good in the last few years. Both Walkman and Cyber-shot have added some very... // about-electronics.eu 13/08/2008 09:52 Sony Ericsson W760 review infoSync World

If the Sony Ericsson W580i was a solid music phone (it was), the Sony Ericsson W760 is a solid 3G phone all around. The great music player hasn't gotten any worse with age, though we'd like it to get a little better. The best part is how much the W760 benefits from U.S. 3G access. Calls expect much from the camera and you'll be pleased. Navigation was a miss, more of a bonus than a worthwhile feature, but there was such a nice mix of... // infoSync World 13/08/2008 01:45 Sony Ericsson W760a mobile phone is on its way to AT&T Phones Review
12/08/2008 22:03 Sony Ericsson Z555 mobile phone review Pocket-lint.co.uk
12 August 2008 - Sony Ericsson continue to offer an increasingly wide range of
phones, so can the Z555 offer anything different? We get calling to
find out. Coming in the common clamshell format, the Z555 is a compact device, measuring 95 x 49 x 17mm. The most notable feature from a design point of view is the prism-like styling on the lid of the phone. Open up the phone and you are presented with a fairly uninspiring face, with a small 176 x 220 colour TFT, which seems to be undersized for the phone: a lot of plastic surrounds the screen giving this a somewhat outdated look. The bottom half of the phone, as usual, is home to the key pad, which in this case is accented with gold, which looks a little out of place, especially around the main four-way control, which is a little too... // Pocket-lint.co.uk 12/08/2008 21:26 Will there be a Sony Ericsson Bravia mobile phone? I just read a rather interesting little piece over on Tech Radar about the idea of Sony Bravia mobile phones which seems rather in

We raved about the Sony Ericsson W760's whizzy Walkman interface when we first talked about this phone in January, and now over at Cellphone Signal they've got information suggesting the mobile phone is coming to
the US with AT&T. The confirmation comes from this leaked photo
of a W760 bearing a teeny tiny little AT&T Deathstar logo. The

8GB of onboard memory, HSDPA internet capabilities, Google Maps, a
3.2-megapixel camera and Shake control to manage the built-in
Walkman player. There's much to like about the Sony Ericsson W980. The music player is superb, and once we got over our reservations regarding the clamshell design, we have to admit it's a smart-looking handset. There's even push-email, although this requires a degree of patience when setting up. Sony Ericsson's second attempt at reviving the classic "T-series"
line continues with the very compact Sony Ericsson T700 - a lightweight 3.5G handset that uses some of the styling cues
from the classic Sony Ericsson T610 and following on from the slightly odd looking T650 . Weighing in at just 78 grams and a thickness of just 10mm, the T700 is incredibly light for a handset of this specification. With 3.5G HSDPA support, 3G UMTS 2100, a QVGA (240 x 320 pixel) display, 3.2 megapixel main camera, video calling, expandable memory, stereo Bluetooth, a multimedia player, stereo speakers and an FM radio, the Sony Ericsson T700 squeezes in an impressive amount of features for a handset of this size. The all new Sony Ericsson C905 is a monster of a phone, des shell
if from its packaging and you soon see its monster dimensions, its
a chunky chap and much bigger than the slim C902 you may be used

Measuring 104.0 x 49.0 x 18.0 mm and weighing a whopping 136 grams this is a phone not to be taken lightly, it weighs more than the N95 8gb and still manages to have a smaller screen and its dimensions mean its more of a Kit Kat chunky than a candy bar phone. Now this isn't meant to put you off we just want to ensure you know the SE C905 is a bit of a brick compared to the slim line candy bar phones we have all become used to. Sony Ericsson may be feeling the pinch , but the company continues to announce handsets with vigour. The
latest one to hit my desk is the W760. The W in the name indicates that this is a Walkman handset, so its star feature should be its music playing. But there are some canny extras on board which give it a little something more. A penchant for gaming means there are two dedicated gaming keys sitting above the screen. There is an accelerometer built in so that the screen can flip into wide format at various times when you turn the phone sideways on. This has a use in some of the games. EA's Need for Speed sees you tilting the phone to control your car for example. And there is built in GPS. Anyone remember the T610? It was a svelte, sexy Sony Ericsson
candybar from 2003, one of the original camera phones and the first
handset I fell in love with. Now, after a five-year wait, we
finally get a full-fledged update—same sleek
form factor, but loaded with bleeding-edge features. I want one. First, a little history. The T610—or, to be specific, the T616 variant—was one of the first cell phones I ever reviewed , and it was definitely the first one I would have paid serious cash for. It was slim and trim (easily slim enough for a jeans pocket), it had a color (color!) display, GPRS access (for slow, stately WAP browsing), and best of all, a built-in, 288 by 352-pixel camera (that's not even VGA quality, folks). Sounds quaint now, but back in 2003, the T610/T616... // Yahoo! Tech |
