05/07/2008 01:48. NACHES, Washington -- Jeff Jefferson, driver of the MJ2 Racing Chevrolet, is finding the 2008 season on the NASCAR Camping World Series a bigger challenge then he ever imagined. Even though he is currently ninth in the overall point standings, his finishes this season are not what the three-time NASCAR champion had envisioned.

“We are struggling,†Jefferson said. “We have great equipment, a first class team, but no luck on the race track.â€

Jefferson’s sole highlight this season came at Phoenix Int’l Raceway in the second race on the schedule where his finished in third place.
