29/07/2008 09:03. To combat spikes in the cost of raw materials like steel, Toyota is upping the prices on 17 Toyota, Scion, and Lexus models. The average MSRP increase for the 13 Toyota and Scion models is $181, or 0.81 percent. All Toyota vehicles are now subject to delivery, processing, and handling fees up $60 from before (that's $720 on passenger cars, $745 on light trucks). Fees increase $50 on Scion vehicles to $670 and Lexus fees stay the same.

At the top of the list is the 2009 Toyota Prius, which receives an average price increase of $500, or 2.2 percent. The Prius now starts at an even $22,000.
