Toyota F1's Timo Glock to race Scion at Historics Race

Toyota is planning an eventful 35th annual Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races event this year, with an appearance by current Toyota F1 racer Timo Glock (center) who will compete head-to-head against a lineup of racing greats in the Race of Legends charity run. Held on August 15 through 17 at Mazda Raceway in Laguna Seca, the classic auto race fits conveniently in the two week Formula 1 break leading up to the Grand Prix of Europe.

This year's eight lap race features defending champion Derek Bell, Eddie Cheever, Johnny Herbert, Jean-Pierre Jarier, Alan Jones, Danny Sullivan, Patrick Tambay and John Watson. SpeedTV commentator Alain de Cadenet will also vie for the $25,000 grand prize and will provide live in-car coverage to viewers.
