Notably, this is the first ever 4x4 model to receive this accolade. SBD’s Security and Cost of Ownership Specialist, Paul MacSweeney, was on hand to accept the award on behalf of Toyota (GB) PLC.

The awards developed by the Automobile Association, the Department of Transport, the Home Office, and the Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre at Thatcham aim to raise public awareness of vehicle security and identify vehicle manufacturers who show dedication to producing secure vehicles.
