working pickup truck goes back to the same time when Henry Ford
started rolling vehicles off of his assembly line, and he knew a
pickup bed would offer some more utility than an enclosed cab. Ever
since then, the pickup has found itself deeply rooted into American
culture as a spartan workhorse - you know, roll-up windows, no air
conditioning, column-mounted manual transmission. The big three
American automakers over the years have been steadily adding
features to their pickups to make them more like their passenger
car counterparts. But now Toyota is taking a big stab at the
