of the largest investments Toyota has recently made is its
sprawling Texas manufacturing plant - the one that builds the
full-sized Tundra pickup.
Naturally, the fact the first of these rigs rolled off the line at
about the same time as the current economic funnel cloud was
forming tends to remain unsaid. Regardless, the full-sized pickup
truck has become a hard sell at the moment, and this is true
regardless of the manufacturer.
The latest version of the Tundra pickup is full-sized in every
sense of the word. From the 5,810 millimetres between the Double
Cab's bumpers to the gargantuan storage box that separates the
front seat occupants, it is one big truck. The good news is that
