04/07/2008 10:08. A new internet report has bad news for Chattanooga's hopes to land the Volkswagen plant next week.

Metal Bulletin Limited reports that V-W will chose the Huntsville site for their vehicle plant.

They claim the company prefers the better-educated workforce surrounding the Huntsville Space Center.

But V-W may put an engine plant here as a consolation.

Of course.. None of this comes from Volkswagen officials themselves.
