Edmunds Inside Line reports, "Volvo will begin a recall of approximately 1,020 of its 2008-'09 C30 , C70 , S40 and V50 models by the end of July to correct a problem with the power steering return line hose."  The hose may have structural problems that can cause it to fail.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Volvo will begin a recall of approximately 1,020 of its 2008-'09 C30 , C70 , S40 and V50 models by the end of July to correct a problem with the power steering return line hose.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says that the hose was not properly cured and does not meet specifications.
