31/05/2008 02:07. Continuing with our theme of convertibles , we added a Volvo C70 to our test fleet for a little over one
week. While we werent too fond of the Ice White
exterior matched with gray upholstery and light wood accents
inside, we commend the Volvos cabin on being
comfortable and stylishsomething for which all Volvos earn high marks in our books . The turbocharged five-cylinder engine and six-speed manual
gearbox felt right at home in the droptop Volvo and we found the
overall package to be quite pleasant.
Unusual car, this C70. Volvos of this size
arent traditionally thought of as
drivers cars, and two-row front-drive
convertibles of this sort are usually viewed as boulevardiers.
Generally speaking, thats fair enough. But
Volvo outfitted our tester with a six-speed manual, and that makes
