Volvo C30 T5 R-Design

22/08/2008 16:02. So, it was with initial disappointment that Volvo's introduction of its R-Design package for the 2009 model year seemed to offer only sizzle, no steak. The new package ($4,200 for the T5) replaces the 2008 model year's Sport and Sport Styling packages and blings up the C30 T5 tester (base price $32,195) with all sorts of extroverted styling cues - 18-inch alloy wheels, dual xenon headlights, a skirt kit, rear spoiler and chrome mirror caps.

Inside, there are power front seats, aluminum inlays throughout the cabin, sport pedals, sport instrument dials and two-tone sport seats. R-Design models are further identified by emblems on the grille, steering wheel and embossed on the front seats.
